Fred Chamberlain Appointed New Business Development Manager For Crowley Associates
 

February 2012 - Crowley Associates, the premiere Manufacturers Representative of electromechanical, passive, interconnect and active products, has named Fred Chamberlain as its New Business Development Manager.

Mr. Chamberlain has an extensive background in the electronics industry. Fred has in depth experience in manufacturing and operation, direct sales and distribution sales. While a Sales Executive at Sager, Fred worked closely with customers and representatives, including Crowley Associates.

As the New Business Development Manager, Mr. Chamberlain will be focused on sales expansion, new account development, further penetration of existing customers of strategic development of key vertical markets. Fred will have at his disposal a full suite of tools of which Crowley Associates is heavily invested in including SalesLogix CRM.

 Company-Wide Technology Updates

February 2012 - Crowley Associates is pleased to announce significant upgrades in hardware, software and infrastructure on a company-wide level. Brand new PCs, laptops, and communications equipment will be installed for each employee within the corporate facilities and satellite offices.

 Crowley Associates upgrades to new VMware Server Environment

November 2011 - Earlier this year Crowley Associates announced completion of its formal migration to the VMware vSphere Enterprise computing infrastructure.  By consolidating its rack of 7 servers providing services that include MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, Domain Control Servers, File and Print Servers and other applications to just 2 VMware High Availability servers, Crowley Associates realized and immediate improvement of its corporate computing and backup efficiency while reducing hardware maintenance costs along with its power and cooling needs as well.

The move reflects its commitment to maintaining and efficient, up-to-date and reliable computing infrastructure for the needs of its corporate office as well as its team of Sales Engineers and Consultants located throughout the Northeast and Midlantic regions of the United States.
